We are seeking part time opportunities for our next round of internships which will be advertised on Monday 8th October 2012. This will be for internships commencing January – March 2013.

If you are interested in being considered to host an internship for this round an Expression of Interest form must be submitted by 12 noon on 10th August 2012.

TSIS offers an exciting opportunity for third sector organisations that do not have their own internship programmes to explore the benefits of engaging student interns.   

Third sector employers will benefit from the TSIS project in the following ways:

• An opportunity to have a specific piece of work undertaken that you would not otherwise have been able to do
• Access to a highly skilled and motivated pool of people,  bringing new ideas and new thinking to your organisation
• The chance to reflect on the experience and how it can impact on your organisation’s future development
• Access to support and resources from the TSIS team at all times, before, during and after the internship

You will also be making a valuable contribution to the development of sustainable links between Scotland's higher education and third sectors.

We are also supporting employers through our research and learning work.  This is to explore what impact our internships have and how the experience can be enhanced.
